Disgraced and legendary hirsute broadcaster Russell Brand has turned grey and developed deep worry lines thanks to the ridiculous sensationalism stirred up over the funniest radio show ever broadcast on the BBC. What a coincidence that just minutes before the Sachs interview Denis Norden was on the program talking about writing the ultimate joke that was so funny you would never need hear another joke again. Unwittingly the comedy duo may well have fulfilled the ambition.
